Blacked out features like the triple clamps, engine, fork, fork covers, frame, exhaust pipe cover, and wheels give the 2024 KLX®230SM ABS motorcycle a distinctly aggressive look.
The new LED headlight cowl and sporty front fender add to the already aggressive supermoto image, while the frame was designed to give riders an easier grip for improved chassis control. Seams between the newly designed shrouds, side panels and seat are flush, which helps improve freedom of movement when changing riding positions.
From the cockpit, an all-digital instrument panel offers at-a-glance information thanks to a large, easy-to-read LCD display screen. The KLX®230SM ABS now features smartphone connectivity via RIDEOLOGY THE APP* which connects you with your bike like never before. Smartphone connectivity enables riders to access instrument functions like vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, and general settings for an enhanced riding experience.

The 2024 KLX®230SM ABS motorcycle's updated engine offers even more low- to mid-range torque, pulling strongly and facilitating low-speed control. Smooth power delivery and crisp throttle response helps riders maneuver through stop-and-go city traffic.
Electric start offers quick and easy engine starting at the push of a button. Fuel injection delivers precise response and reliability in a wide range of conditions and contributes to improved fuel economy.

RESPONSIVE POWERREV UP THE FUN
The KLX®230SM ABS supermoto motorcycle is powered by a 233cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine. Experience a fun and exciting spread of power tuned for low- to mid-range acceleration.

The 17-inch wheels, road tires, and short wheelbase add agility to the quick handling package.
Suspension performance offers 7.4-inches of travel up front and 8.7-inches in the rear, while a 37mm inverted telescopic front fork contributes to supermoto styling as well as front-end rigidity. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension provides great bump absorption and a new lightweight, aluminum swingarm helps keep the bike light for improved handling.
Substantial braking power is provided by a large 300mm semi-floating petal disc and twin-piston caliper up front and a 220mm petal disc and single-piston caliper rear brake package.

The 2024 KLX®230SM ABS motorcycle's newly designed seat has a flat silhouette for added freedom of movement, while smooth bodywork also facilitates rider movement.
The KLX®230SM ABS features a low 33.0-inch seat height which allows riders to comfortably reach the ground at stops for increased confidence. A new thicker seat improves rider comfort and helps with soaking up bumps on uneven pavement, making sport riding and everyday journeys more enjoyable.
The new clutch and brake hand levers are in a prime position for easy access when riding.
